Here are some tips to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience before you fly:
Check the bag’s weight before wrapping. This is to avoid paying extra for exceeding your airline’s check-in weight limit.
Do not pack any items with Installed lithium batteries or carry loose lithium batteries with ratings more than 160Wh or 8g lithium content.
Portable oxygen cylinders for medical purposes are better separated from the luggage being wrapped, as they need to be declared. Secure airline approval before the date of the flight.
Always check your airline’s policy for a full list of prohibited and restricted items before having your luggage wrapped.
Remove all electronics such as phones, tables, laptops and power banks from the check-in luggage. They can be taken as carry-on luggage.
Make sure your bag or luggage is free from all flammable, explosive, corrosive and toxic items.
For sporting and recreational equipment, as well as battery-powered mobility devices (e.g. wheelchairs), some items may require approval. Check with your airline.
